Service Description
As a Diastasis and Core Consultant I work with you to help heal core imbalances and diastasis recti (stomach separation), rebuild and reclaim your core system. Ideally, abdominal-strengthening exercises should be initiated during pregnancy to promote good posture, strengthen the muscles for labor, and prevent low back pain and Diastasis Recti. However, it is also possible to have DR without a pregnancy as other factors can contribute to DR and it is never to late to have an improvement in functional of your core! Because Pelvic Floor muscle dysfunction is so highly correlated with DR, proper pelvic floor muscle activation is a part of the preventative and rehabilitative role. Initial 90 minute assessment can focus on a detailed movement assessment or a detailed Pelvic Floor assessment. $90
